S. João Baptista Fortress in Berlengas Island, Peniche - Portugal
I have several stories about the Berlengas but the most interesting one was when I took this photo.
It was right after an attack of the seagulls. Yes, I was attacked by 2 seagulls that were protecting their calfs.
Unfortunately I got too close to one of the nests (without noticing) and their parents got a bit upset with me and started using their beaks and claws in close range flights.
However nothing much happened since I got away from their rage and I could go on in peace with my descendent to this beautiful fortress.
One last curiosity: I took this with my old cellphone Nokia N73. :) Once more proving that the best camera is the one you have at hand at that moment (still, I love my Canon :) ).
