After the Surgery
•
2011-04-08
As most of you know, my dog Pepper had a surgery yesterday to remove some breasts.
It was a nerve wrecking day but everything went fine.
Although I was not allowed to see Pepper that day and she stayed at the hospital during the night and until a few hours ago.
I picked-up Pepper today in the afternoon.
She is still under the effect of drugs so she is sleeping most of the time.
But it is so peaceful to know that she is home.
My heart rests now and only anxious for the lab results on the tumor removed (in 2 weeks I should get it).
The recovery will take more and less 2 weeks now and it has some hard stuff in between.
I took this picture a few minutes ago.
I usually don't post 2 pictures on the same day, but I felt compelled to do so since today it's a special day: Pepper is at home again. :)
Thanks for all of you that left me support messages/comments on my last post about this.
With an open heart.
Helder
